AR Celebration

Our amazing room mom team put together a party to celebrate the accomplishments that were made for the Accelerated Reader program during 1st quarter.  Students meeting their goal enjoyed popcorn from a REAL popcorn machine, and students received the opportunity to purchase items in their very own AR store.  I have no doubt that every student will work hard not only accomplish their goal but to go beyond that goal.  Thank you to our parents involved that provided that motivation!

Reminders

We have a couple of events coming up over this next month.  

1.  Spirit Day-November 4th   Students can come to school dressed in blue and gold shirts and jeans.  Go Eagles!  In addition, this will be Mrs. Crawford's last day with us.  Please pray for God's best for her as she begins the next chapter in her life!

2.  Foodshare is underway.  Please send in nonperishable food items to donate to families in need.  The last day for contributions will be November 11th.

3.  The Bible study habit sheet for 2nd quarter will be due on Thursday, November 17th.

4.  Our Thanksgiving party will take place on November 18th at Palm-Aire park from 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.  Parents are welcome to attend.  I have a list of food and craft items needed.  Please email me if you are willing to contribute.

5.  Awards chapel for 1st quarter will take place on Friday, November 18th, from 2:10-2:50 p.m. 

6.  We will be having a picnic with our reading buddies on November 29th at Palm-Aire park.  Please let me know if you would be willing to help at this event.

Professor Endeavor

Today Professor Endeavor came to our class and conducted some activities to reinforce our science curriculum.  We learned more exciting facts about sound and light.  Our Creator is amazing!!!

Classroom Needs

 Throughout this quarter, students were given tickets for excellent behavior.  This Friday we will have our 1st quarter ticket redemption.  It would be wonderful for the students to have a great assortment of goodies to choose from.  If you feel led, please consider adding to our treasure box this week.  Thank you!!!
