Sawgrass Recreation Park

We were blessed with glorious weather today! In addition, it was wonderful when one of the workers at the park commented on the excellent behavior of our students.  It pleases our Lord when our love for Him shines through in all that we say and do.  Getting up close to some of God's most amazing creations was icing on the cake! 

Oh, What fun!!

Today we went to Palm-Aire park with our reading buddies.  We played a game, had delicious cupcakes provided by Mrs. Clawson, and made memories on the playground.  God blessed us with beautiful weather!!

Everglades field trip

Don't forget about the Everglades field trip this Wednesday the 30th.  Please bring an all disposable lunch, an extra bottle of water, and wear your PE uniforms.  I can't wait!!

Final Call for St. Augustine/important reminders

This is the final call for registration for St. Augustine.  The registration will close at the end of the day tomorrow.  Don't miss out on this wonderful field trip! Chaperones, please do not forget about the mandatory fingerprinting!  

Our Thanksgiving party will take place at Palm-Aire park this Friday from 11:00 a.m.-1:45 p.m. Parents are welcome. Please remember to send in any food/drink items that you signed up for. Thank you!!

The 1st quarter awards ceremony is this Friday in the theater at 2:10 p.m. (right after our party at Palm-Aire park).  Students will receive awards for honor roll (all As and Bs on your report card), Principal's honor roll (all As on your report card), Stanford scores from last year, most improved, and Christian character (parents of these students have been informed).  

If I do not get a chance to see you before Friday, I wish you and your family a wonderful, relaxing Thanksgiving break!  We are so blessed by our awesome God! 

Author Jenny Cote

Today we had a special guest!  Author Jenny Cote came to share her love of writing with the class.  We were part of a general assembly, where Mrs. Cote described her books and the importance of colorful details in writing.  Later on in the day, we were invited to a writer's workshop, where students were given writing tips.  Extra order forms to purchase books will be in the homework folders today!

Veteran's Day

Do you have a family member or friend that is serving or has served in the Armed Forces?   Come to school with their names so that we can lift them up in prayer tomorrow!

 November 4th will be Mrs. Crawford's last day with our class.  We wish her many blessings in her new career.  She will be a blessing to her first class!
