Writing their names in Chinese
The boys also played Chinese games and made a Chinese lantern. In chapel, they said John 3:16 in Mandarin!  One day, God might use them to share the gospel and use what they learned about the Chinese culture to win others for Him.  We were so blessed to be part of this special day!

Bible with the little ones

We had a very fun bible lesson today and wanted to share some pictures with you.  As you know, we are working our way through the life of Moses.  Today we used our iPad to watch an interactive story about Moses and the 10 plagues.  Lucie and Josh held up signs that read, "Let my people go" and "No!"  each time a new plague was introduced.  Afterwards, we acted out the plague of frogs.
Lucie-this is the only time you can stick your tongue out at your teacher :-)

Josh wanted to have his frog mask on, too.

Miss Aimee gets a good laugh!
Because Pharaoh finally let God's people free at the end of our lesson, we are so excited to find out what happens next!

Moses Snack

Today we made jello (The Nile River), used pretzels and gum drops (for bushes), and marshmallows and fruit roll ups (for baby Moses in the basket).
There's that precious smile!

Josh liked making the bushes the most!

Lucie didn't want to eat Baby Moses-just kiss him...

Zack got to school just in time for cooking....we were soooo happy to see him!

I know some of you parents are wondering when Mrs. Sumner is going to come up with a HEALTHY fun cooking activity.   I'm working on that.....

Have a wonderful weekend!

Great News!!

Today in chapel, our class was awarded the Mannerly Mouth Award!  This means that we have been exhibiting good manners wherever we go, and someone noticed!  We are so thankful that God gave us the desire to use kind words and good manners, and now He is blessing us with this esteemed award!

The proud bunch!
