Important iPass reminder

As we are over half way through the 3rd

quarter, I just wanted to remind everyone

about the 9 hours of iPass that are due on

March 15th (date was moved 1 day earlier

than original, as the end of the 3rd quarter

falls on the 15th).  We have completed over

2 hours in class so far.  For some students,

those are the only points showing on their

reports.  Thank you for doing everything you

can to take advantage of this individualized

 math program.

Valentine's Day Party

We had a great time celebrating Valentine's

Day this afternoon thanks to our wonderful

room mom team.  We made bags for our card

exchange, had delicious (very BIG) cookies,

and enjoyed a game of bingo to end the

afternoon.  Thanks again to the most

amazing room mom team EVER!

Love is in the Air!

We got a special delivery from the senior

 class this morning.....

Experiment-Physical Properties

Today we experimented with materials that

have very different properties.  We predicted

what we thought would happen and then

recorded our observations.  It was obvious

that the water with food coloring was less

dense than the corn syrup.  This activity was

the beginning of our study on physical and

chemical changes.
